Munich, Bavaria, Germany, April 2026 – Siemens AG, under the leadership of Roland Busch, President and CEO, has announced that Veronika Bienert has officially stepped into the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Recognized as an outstanding financial leader with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, Veronika brings deep institutional knowledge and a proven track record within Siemens.
Roland Busch highlighted that Veronika’s extensive experience and leadership across the organization position her strongly to drive Siemens’ financial strategy and support its continued growth and transformation.
Veronika Bienert brings over three decades of experience with Siemens, having built a distinguished career across multiple finance and leadership roles globally. Prior to her appointment as CFO, she served as a Member of the Managing Board of Siemens AG, overseeing key areas including Siemens Financial Services, Siemens Real Estate, and Global Business Services.
Earlier, she was CEO of Siemens Financial Services GmbH, where she led the company’s financial services arm, driving growth and strengthening its strategic positioning. Before that, she served as CFO / CRO of Siemens Financial Services, further deepening her expertise in finance, risk, and business operations.
Her extensive experience also includes roles such as CFO – Business Unit Mainline Transport (Mobility Division), CFO – Industry Automation Division, and CFO – Siemens Germany (Sales and Service Organization), where she played a key role in driving financial performance and operational excellence.
Veronika has also held international leadership roles, including CFO Cluster Russia/Central Asia and Country CFO Russia, and earlier positions in corporate strategy, project financing, and export finance across Europe and Asia-Pacific.
In addition, she serves as a Member of the Supervisory Board of Siemens Healthineers AG, contributing to governance and strategic oversight within the broader Siemens ecosystem.
