London Area, United Kingdom – November 2024 – Vicky Felton has joined The Social Impact Academy as Chief People Officer. With a focus on inclusion and neurodiversity, Vicky brings over 25 years of leadership experience from the telecoms sector, where she has been a passionate advocate for creating supportive workplaces. In her new role, Vicky will advance The Social Impact Academy’s mission to foster inclusive environments, particularly for neurodivergent individuals, while driving sustainable, impactful social change.
Previously, Vicky held the role of Senior Operations for Consumer Recontract at Virgin Media O2, where she co-chaired the Virgin Media O2 Neurodiversity Network. Her commitment to inclusivity was evident as she championed neurodiversity initiatives, including small but impactful adjustments to support neurodivergent talent. In addition, she pursued the CIPD Level 7 Advanced Diploma in Strategic People Management, enhancing her strategic expertise in people operations.
Before that, Vicky spent over 14 years at O2 (Telefónica UK), holding various senior roles, including Senior Operations for Consumer Recontract and Head of SMB in Retail. At O2, she developed expertise in multiple domains such as retail, franchise, learning and development, and channel management, always with a focus on fostering neurodiversity and employee well-being. Her tenure at O2 established her reputation as a leader dedicated to talent development and inclusive practices.
Vicky’s early career in telecom involved a long-standing role as SMB Channel Manager for Stores, where she honed her skills in operational management and team development. Her work in this position laid the foundation for her commitment to neurodiversity and inclusion, helping her realize the potential of diverse perspectives in achieving business success.
