St. Louis, Missouri, USA, June 2024 – Valerie Roeber has been named the new Director of Human Resources and Operations at American Plastics. Valerie brings a wealth of experience in human resources and operations, making her well-suited to lead the company’s HR and operations strategy.
Valerie Roeber has been with American Plastics for over 2 years, holding various key positions within the organization. Prior to her current role, she served as the Human Resources Manager for approximately 2 years. In this role, Valerie was instrumental in managing recognition programs, business strategy, regulatory compliance, EEO compliance, human capital, and talent development.
Before becoming the Human Resources Manager at American Plastics, Valerie was a Human Resources Manager at Pressed Paperboard Tech for approximately 1.5 years. She led HR initiatives and managed regulatory compliance, talent development, and cultural transformation.
Valerie worked as a Talent Acquisition Leader at Kalmbach Feeds Inc. for about 7 months, where she was responsible for talent acquisition, regulatory compliance, EEO compliance, and human capital management.
Valerie also served as a Talent Acquisition Manager at MaritzCX for around 1 year. In this role, she managed recruiting and onboarding processes, developed recruitment plans, and maintained community brand relationships. Additionally, she provided general HR guidance and labor compliance and was a member of the Management Leadership team.
Earlier in her career, Valerie worked at Ohio SP Inc. as the Manager of Operations for nearly 18 years. She expanded the business from one location with 10 employees to five locations with over 50 employees. Valerie handled marketing, donations, goal setting, training programs, construction project management, HR activities, and daily operations.
