Toronto, Ontario, Canada, June 2024 – Erin Moore has been named the new Chief People Officer at McDonald’s Canada. Erin brings a wealth of experience in human resources and operations within McDonald’s, making her well-suited to lead the company’s people strategy in Canada.
Erin Moore has been with McDonald’s for over 17 years, holding various key positions within the organization. Prior to her current role, she served as the National Director Human Resources from May 2021 to June 2024. In this role, Erin was instrumental in shaping and implementing HR strategies that supported the company’s goals and fostered a positive workplace culture across McDonald’s Canada.
Before becoming the National Director Human Resources, Erin was a Project Manager at McCafe from April 2017 to May 2021. She was responsible for the business development, operational configuration, standards, performance, and day-to-day operations of Stand Alone McCafes in Toronto, Canada.
From February 2014 to March 2017, Erin worked as a Business Consultant for McDonald’s, where she provided strategic guidance and support to franchisees to enhance business performance and operational efficiency.
Erin also served as an Operations Consultant from June 2012 to April 2013, overseeing the operational standards and procedures to ensure consistency and quality across multiple locations in the Toronto area. From May 2009 to June 2012, she held the position of Human Resources Consultant, where she managed various HR functions, including recruitment, training, and employee relations.
Earlier in her career, Erin was a Field Trainer from September 2008 to June 2009, responsible for training and developing employees to maintain high service standards. She started her journey at McDonald’s as a Recruiter & People Manager from April 2007 to September 2008, where she focused on talent acquisition and management for the Ottawa and Gatineau regions.
