London, United Kingdom, February 2026 — Island Green Power has appointed Vicky Noelanders as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In this leadership role, Noelanders will lead the company’s people strategy as Island Green Power continues to scale its operations as a developer and owner of utility-scale solar and battery storage projects.
In her new position, Vicky Noelanders will be responsible for shaping a high-performance, values-driven culture and strengthening workforce capabilities to support Island Green Power’s expanding global portfolio. The organization is backed by Macquarie Asset Management, was founded in 2012, and has successfully developed over 4GW of projects globally, while currently advancing a pipeline of 17GW under development in the UK—making strategic talent leadership critical to enabling its next phase of growth.
Prior to joining Island Green Power, Noelanders served for nearly three years at CycleØ as Chief People & Environment Officer, where she led people strategy alongside sustainability and environment priorities—an increasingly important intersection for modern renewable-energy organizations. Her work in this role positioned her strongly for a CHRO mandate at a rapidly growing clean energy developer.
Earlier, she held senior HR leadership positions in the global energy and engineering ecosystem. She was Human Resources Director at Technip Energies, and also served as Human Resources Director at Genesis Energies—roles that strengthened her experience in organizational transformation, leadership enablement, and workforce integration within complex, project-based environments.
Her longest and most extensive corporate chapter was with Technip / TechnipFMC, spanning multiple roles and geographies. Over nearly six years, she progressed through major leadership positions including Head of HR, Communication & General Services in the UAE, along with HR Operations Manager and Senior HR Business Partner roles based in the Middle East—building strong capability across HR operations, employee relations, communications, and multi-country HR leadership.
Noelanders has also worked in European and international HR partner roles earlier in her career, including positions within the ENGIE (GDF SUEZ) ecosystem and recruitment leadership roles in the Middle East and Europe—building a strong foundation in talent acquisition, HR partnering, and cross-cultural workforce leadership.
