Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, March 2026 — Vijay Kannan has started a new position as Senior Vice President Human Resources at Consolidated Analytics. Based in Chennai, he joins the organization with deep experience across global HR leadership, HR transformation, and building scalable people practices for technology-led and services environments.
Prior to joining Consolidated Analytics, Vijay Kannan served as Senior Director, Regional Human Resources at Oportun, based in Chennai in a remote capacity. In this role, he built the fintech IT product Global Capacity Innovation Center (GCC) in India from inception as the first employee and scaled it to 250+ technology talent resources. His work included owning and implementing HR policies, processes, and compliance for a greenfield captive technology center, formulating workforce plans aligned to business needs, enabling high-bar recruitment strategy, advising business leaders on people matters and change management, and building a high-performance culture across performance planning, succession, retention, and workforce initiatives.
Earlier, he served as Director – People Services at Expleo Group (formerly known as SQS India BFSI Ltd), where he headed HR functions and contributed to the people strategy and restructuring aligned to the group’s global presence.
Before that, Vijay Kannan spent significant years with Tata Consultancy Services, holding leadership roles including HR Head – Retail, Travel Transportation & Hospitality Business Clusters, HR Head – Southern Region & US BFS, Country Head – APAC (India), and Delivery Center HR Head. Across these roles, he led strategic HR functions, partnered with business leadership, enabled talent engagement and business transformation, and managed HR service delivery for large associate populations.
Earlier in his career, he served as Business Unit HR Manager at APC by Schneider Electric, was Executive Manager – HR at Sanmar Group, and held earlier HR roles at T V Sundram Iyengar & Sons Ltd and TVS – Sundaram Brake Linings, building a strong foundation across manufacturing HR, HR operations, and workforce enablement.
