Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, April 2025 – Vikas Shirsath has taken on the role of Chief Operating Officer at Redox Scientific, a leading contract research organization based in India. In this role, Vikas will drive operational excellence and lead strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing Redox’s global research service capabilities.
Prior to this, Vikas Shirsath served as Senior Vice President and Head of Chemical Development Services at Aragen Life Sciences, where he was responsible for late pre-clinical discovery, development, and manufacturing efforts. He played a critical role in advancing the organization’s CDMO capabilities with a strong focus on client-centric innovation and execution.
Before joining Aragen, he held the position of Vice President and Operating Unit Head, Discovery Chemistry at Syngene International Limited for nearly two years, where he led discovery chemistry programs and operational initiatives for a diverse portfolio of clients across global markets.
Vikas also had an extensive tenure at Jubilant Biosys Limited, where over five years he rose from Vice President to Senior Vice President – Global Operations. His leadership contributed to scaling operations and strengthening scientific and delivery frameworks.
Earlier in his career, he held several scientific leadership positions at Piramal Enterprises, o2h Discovery, and Suven Life Sciences, as well as academic experience as a Lecturer at K.B. Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research, grounding him deeply in both industrial and academic aspects of pharmaceutical R&D.
