Helsinki, Uusimaa, Finland, November 2025 — Viljami Kamaja has been appointed as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Tax & Legal, Deloitte Finland, marking a significant milestone in his distinguished career at the intersection of technology, tax, and business transformation. In his new role, Viljami will lead the strategic alignment of technology initiatives across Deloitte’s Tax & Legal practice, driving innovation, automation, and data-driven decision-making to enhance client experience and operational excellence.
Viljami has been with Deloitte Finland for over a year, where he previously served as Technology Manager. In that capacity, he successfully led cross-functional technology projects that bridged business objectives with innovative digital solutions. His work spanned managing complex stakeholder ecosystems, leading transformation programs, and fostering collaboration across multiple countries within Deloitte’s global network. His contributions played a key role in positioning Deloitte Finland’s Tax & Legal practice as a forward-looking, technology-enabled advisory leader.
Prior to joining Deloitte, Viljami worked at Vialto Partners for more than two years, where he served as Senior Associate and earlier as Associate. In these roles, he focused on global mobility taxation, automation, and process optimization, combining his tax expertise with a passion for digitalization. He implemented innovative tools and process enhancements to improve efficiency both at local and global levels, enabling Vialto’s teams to deliver faster and more accurate advisory services.
Before his time at Vialto Partners, Viljami was a Global Mobility Consultant at PwC Finland, where he specialized in international taxation and social security matters. His role extended beyond traditional tax consulting to include technological innovation — optimizing internal systems and integrating digital tools to enhance client delivery.
Earlier in his career, Viljami spent nearly four years at Nordea, one of the largest financial institutions in the Nordics, where he held various roles in operations and compliance, including Business Support Officer and AML & Sanctions Processing Specialist. His hands-on experience with Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processes strengthened his understanding of regulatory compliance and financial technology systems — expertise that continues to inform his leadership approach.
Education
Viljami holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Data Expertise and Artificial Intelligence from Tampere University of Applied Sciences, equipping him with the technical depth and strategic vision to lead digital transformation in professional services.
