Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, November 2025 — Vinay Kumar Gupta has been elevated to the role of Executive Director at National Fertilizers Limited, marking a significant leadership milestone in his 36-year career with the organization. His elevation reflects his deep operational expertise, people-first leadership, and sustained contributions to NFL’s strategic and technical advancement as one of India’s foremost public sector undertakings in the fertilizer industry.
In his current organization, National Fertilizers Limited, Vinay has played a pivotal role in strengthening the operational capabilities and strategic direction across multiple units. Prior to his elevation, he served as Chief General Manager & Unit Head at NFL Vijaipur, where he led initiatives focused on enhancing plant reliability, operational efficiency, and sustainable productivity. His leadership ensured a high-performance culture rooted in operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Before his tenure at Vijaipur, he served as Chief General Manager (O&M) at NFL Panipat, where he led modernization initiatives and maintenance programs to improve reliability and long-term asset performance. His strong command over plant operations and safety frameworks helped drive more efficient and optimized production practices.
Earlier, he also served as Chief General Manager (O&M) and General Manager (In-Charge), Unit Head at NFL Nangal, where he focused on organizational performance improvement, operational planning, capability-building, and infrastructure enhancement across the unit.
Over the past three decades, Vinay has worked across NFL’s units in Nangal, Panipat, Bathinda, and Vijaipur, contributing to major technology upgrades, maintenance excellence, project management, and sustainability advancements. His journey reflects a deep-rooted commitment to strengthening India’s fertilizer manufacturing ecosystem and supporting the agricultural economy.
As Executive Director, he will continue to drive strategic modernization, sustainable production systems, and operational excellence across NFL’s national footprint.
