United Kingdom, December 2025 — Vinith Vijayan has been appointed as Program Performance Director at OPmobility, strengthening the company’s global leadership framework across engineering performance, R&D economics, and delivery governance.
In his new role, Vinith is responsible for shaping global R&D economics, strengthening delivery capability, and building a performance-driven engineering culture aligned to OPmobility’s long-term strategic priorities.
At OPmobility, Vinith has built a strong leadership career over more than a decade. Prior to this appointment, he served as Director of Engineering Competitiveness, where he led global engineering productivity programs, process optimisation, and talent capability development to strengthen operational excellence.
Earlier, he worked as Director – India Technical Centre (Expat), where he oversaw large-scale technical operations in India, driving customer satisfaction, safety, talent development, and P&L accountability across major engineering portfolios.
Before this, Vinith held leadership roles including Product Engineering Group Manager and Engineering Project Manager, leading global vehicle programs, supplier integration, lean manufacturing initiatives, and new model launches across the United Kingdom and Europe.
His earlier professional journey includes significant assignments with Bertrandt Group, Renault Nissan Automotive India, Daimler AG, Magna International, and Tata AutoComp Systems, where he built strong foundations in automotive engineering, manufacturing excellence, and project delivery.
