Delhi, India, October 2025 — Automotive Skills Development Council – India (ASDC) has announced the appointment of Vinkesh Gulati as its new Chairperson, marking a significant milestone in the organization’s ongoing mission to build a future-ready workforce for India’s fast-evolving automotive and mobility sectors.

With over three decades of experience in the automotive industry, Mr. Gulati brings deep expertise in skill development, workforce transformation, and industry leadership. Having been associated with ASDC for over eight years in multiple capacities including Vice President, Treasurer, and Board Member, he has been instrumental in shaping the Council’s strategic direction and initiatives aimed at bridging the industry’s skill gap.

Beyond ASDC, Mr. Gulati serves on the Executive Committee of the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA), where he has previously held key leadership roles such as President and Founder Chairman of Research & Academy. His work has focused on enhancing industry standards, improving dealer engagement, and strengthening the talent development framework across India’s automotive ecosystem.

In addition, he is the Senior Vice President at United Group of Institutions and Director at United Automobiles, a leading dealership network for Mahindra & Mahindra and Bajaj Auto. Mr. Gulati’s experience across industry, education, and enterprise brings a holistic perspective to his leadership at ASDC.

An alumnus of Allahabad University, Vinkesh Gulati’s appointment as Chairperson reinforces ASDC’s commitment to promoting skilling excellence, developing industry-aligned curricula, and ensuring sustainable growth in India’s mobility landscape.

About Automotive Skills Development Council – India (ASDC)
The Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC) is India’s first sector skill council promoted by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), Automotive Component Manufacturers Association (ACMA), and Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA). Its objective is to continually develop and upgrade automotive skills for higher value addition, making skilling aspirational, credible, and integrated with academic pathways. ASDC is committed to fostering industry participation, ensuring reliability in skill assessments, and celebrating excellence in skilling achievements.
