Zurich, Switzerland/INDIA, February 2025 – Vishaal Gupta has taken on the role of President, Enterprise Learning and Skills; Chair, India at Pearson, where he will lead strategic initiatives focused on workforce learning and skills development while also overseeing Pearson’s operations in India. His leadership is set to drive innovation in learning solutions, enhancing digital transformation and skill-building across global enterprises.
Gupta has been with Pearson since April 2024, previously serving as President, Workforce Skills, where he played a crucial role in expanding Pearson’s enterprise learning initiatives. Prior to joining Pearson, he spent over eight years at Accenture, where he held multiple leadership positions, including Senior Managing Director, Technology Sales, Solutions, and Ecosystem Lead, Europe and Managing Director, Google Cloud Platform Sales Lead, Europe. His tenure at Accenture focused on technology sales, cloud solutions, and business transformation, strengthening his expertise in global business strategy.
Earlier in his career, Gupta was Senior Vice President, Head of Telecom and Media, Europe at Tech Mahindra, where he led strategic business growth initiatives across the region. Before that, he spent over 11 years at Mindtree, holding key roles such as Vice President and Global Head – Communications and Consumer Products and Vice President, Head of Continental Europe, where he contributed significantly to the company’s European market expansion.
Gupta’s early career includes leadership roles at Unimobile Inc. and HCL Comnet, where he gained valuable experience in business development, product management, and enterprise technology solutions. His extensive background in workforce learning, technology, and enterprise transformation makes him a key asset to Pearson’s future growth.
