Hyderabad, Telangana, India, March 2025 — Keka HR, India’s leading HR tech platform, has appointed Vishal Chopra as Senior Vice President – Marketing, furthering its mission to drive innovation, scale globally, and deliver exceptional value to businesses through cutting-edge HR technology. In his new role, Vishal will lead the company’s marketing strategy, brand positioning, digital outreach, and expansion efforts across key markets.
With over 15 years of experience in high-growth SaaS organizations, Vishal Chopra brings deep expertise in performance marketing, customer engagement, and GTM strategies. Most recently, he served as Chief Growth Officer at Hiver, where he led a 25+ member team and achieved substantial gains in web traffic, pipeline quality, and marketing efficiency. Prior to that, he held several senior marketing roles at Freshworks, overseeing APAC and MEA growth initiatives and executing high-impact campaigns and events across multiple geographies.
Earlier in his career, Vishal led product marketing efforts at Cvent, built strategic marketing plans at Wipfli, and held global leadership roles at IBM, including as Global Marketing Lead for IBM MobileFirst. His experience also spans marketing strategy and telecom-focused GTM leadership at Collabera.
Vishal’s strategic mindset and hands-on leadership are expected to bolster Keka’s global positioning and help expand its reach as a go-to HRMS solution for modern businesses.
It all began with the frustration of using software that sucked. Before Keka, the core team—running a 100-person business—searched for an easy-to-use HR solution and found only clunky, tedious tools. Determined to change this, Keka was born: a modern HR tech platform designed to make employee management intuitive and delightful. Today, Keka is transforming how businesses manage people by combining powerful automation with a user-centric experience, serving thousands of growing companies worldwide.
