Ambernath, Maharashtra, India, April 2025 – Vitthal Labade has stepped into a new role as Head of Human Resources at PolyPeptide Group, bringing with him over two decades of diverse experience in HR leadership across pharmaceuticals, aviation, hospitality, and manufacturing sectors. In his new role, he will lead the HR strategy and operations for the India unit, aligning people practices with the Group’s mission to support global health through pharmaceutical innovation.
Prior to joining PolyPeptide Group, Vitthal served as Assistant Director of Human Resources at Marriott International, managing HR operations for The Westin Mumbai Powai Lake and Marriott Executive Apartments. His focus on employee experience and operational excellence was a hallmark of his tenure in the hospitality sector.
Previously, he was HR Head – Western Region at IndiGo, where he led HR operations for a 5,400-strong workforce across 17 locations. He played a vital role in scaling operations, overseeing the recruitment of over 9,500 employees and launching 14 new locations, along with developing strong employee engagement and compliance programs.
Earlier in his career, Vitthal held HR leadership roles at CelebiNAS Airport Services, Lupin, Flamingo Pharmaceuticals, HT Media, and Larsen & Toubro, where he managed end-to-end HR and industrial relations for large-scale operations. He began his professional journey with the Indian Army, serving for over six years in Jammu & Kashmir.
