Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, April 2025 – Vivek Swaroop Tripathi has taken on a new role as Vice President – HR (Group Companies) at IRM Group – Non Pharma Business of Cadila Pharmaceuticals. In this strategic role, he will lead the HR function across the group’s diversified businesses in agriculture, veterinary, travel, hospitality, engineering, and forex, driving organizational effectiveness, people strategy, and cultural transformation.
Prior to this, Vivek served as Assistant CHRO at CEPT University, where he contributed significantly to building a robust HR framework and governance structure for academic and administrative teams over a one-year tenure.
Before CEPT, he held the role of Circle HR Head – Gujarat at Indus Towers Limited, where he led the end-to-end HR function for two years. His focus was on talent strategy, leadership effectiveness, and workforce planning for large-scale telecom operations in the region.
Earlier, Vivek spent nearly five years at Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance, progressing through multiple leadership roles. He managed the HR agenda for various business verticals including Agency, Banca, TPD, and Direct Marketing across Gujarat. His strategic HR interventions supported talent acquisition, headcount planning, and employee engagement across multiple geographies.
He also played a key HRBP role at Jana Small Finance Bank, where he was instrumental in setting up regional HR practices for Rajasthan and Punjab. His leadership in employee engagement, retention strategies, and performance management processes left a lasting impact on business transformation and people productivity.
Prior to that, Vivek held senior HR positions at Khaitan & Co, Tata Teleservices Ltd, and Bharti Airtel, where he handled zonal and corporate HR operations, policy implementation, and business HR partnering in high-growth environments. His early HR grounding at Airtel across Northern India shaped his deep understanding of HR strategy and operations at scale.
