Knoxville, Tennessee, United States, April 2025 – Will Trumm has been appointed as the Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer and Labor Relations at the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). In this expanded role, he will lead enterprise-wide HR and labor relations strategies across TVA’s diverse operational landscape, supporting more than 10 million people in the Tennessee Valley region.
Will brings over 11 years of experience at TVA, having held several strategic roles including Vice President of Labor Relations, Safety, and Workforce Development, and Vice President of Labor Supply and Partnerships, where he led future-focused workforce transition strategies and built innovative internal capabilities. As Director of Labor and Employee Relations, he successfully advised on negotiations involving 17 unions and approximately 60,000 employees, playing a key role in maintaining stable labor relations and operational continuity.
Earlier in his TVA career, Will served as Senior Labor Relations Consultant and Senior Employee Resource Manager, where he provided strategic counsel to senior management and played a central role in HR operations for nuclear plant expansion projects. Prior to TVA, he held senior HR roles at Amazon and The Home Depot, where he led large-scale HR teams across multiple facilities and regions.
