California, United States, April 2025 – Karolyn Wilhelmsen has taken on a new leadership role as Vice President, People Systems, Insights and Payroll at CSAA Insurance Group, a AAA Insurer. In this capacity, she will be responsible for leading the enterprise strategy related to human resources systems, workforce analytics, and applications that enhance employee productivity, continuing her long-standing contribution to CSAA’s HR transformation journey.
Karolyn brings over 16 years of progressive experience at CSAA Insurance Group. Most recently, she served as Senior Director, People Systems, Insights, and Payroll, where she played a pivotal role in scaling HRIS functions and data-driven decision-making processes. Prior to that, she held the role of Director, HR Systems, Analytics, and Payroll, where she led cross-functional system upgrades and performance analytics initiatives.
In earlier roles including HRIS Manager, HR Manager, Compliance and Data Management, and HR Analytics Manager, she spearheaded major system implementations like Workday HCM and led compliance and vendor management strategies. Her professional journey began in HR analysis, eventually rising to lead specialized teams in HR technology and data strategy.
Before joining CSAA, Karolyn held various HR roles at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, culminating in her position as Lawyer Development Manager, and also served as an AmeriCorps VISTA Volunteer, underscoring her longstanding commitment to service and development.
