Cincinnati, Ohio, United States, November 2024 – Wilma Beaty, a seasoned leader with extensive experience in human resources, legal affairs, and organizational transformation, has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Michelman, a global advanced materials manufacturer. In her new role, she will oversee Michelman’s global HR operations, ensuring that the company’s core values remain integral to its business approach while driving talent strategies and employee engagement across its international footprint.
Wilma joins Michelman following her role as Chief Legal and Human Resources Officer at BioTouch, where she led a team of over 1,400 employees across mission-critical logistics services. During her tenure, she successfully implemented HR strategies that aligned with business goals, enhanced organizational efficiencies, and strengthened employee engagement.
Prior to BioTouch, she served as General Counsel and CHRO at GAT Airline Ground Support, where she played a pivotal role in managing HR operations for 4,000 employees across North America, driving workforce planning, compliance, and employee well-being initiatives.

At allnex, a $2B global leader in industrial coating resins, Wilma held dual roles as General Counsel & HR Director, Americas. She led cross-functional teams to streamline payroll processes, manage acquisitions, and oversee collective bargaining negotiations. Her expertise in mergers and acquisitions significantly contributed to the seamless integration of business units.
Earlier in her career, Wilma demonstrated her leadership acumen as VP, CHRO, General Counsel, and Secretary at Caraustar Industries, where she managed HR and legal operations for one of North America’s largest manufacturers of recycled paperboard products. She also held the role of Corporate Counsel at Wegmans Food Markets, further solidifying her legal and HR expertise.
