Nairobi, Kenya, September 2024 – Winnie Karisa has been appointed as the Group Chief Human Resource & Administration Officer at WIOCC Group, where she will lead HR and administrative functions across multiple countries, including Kenya, South Africa, Nigeria, the UK, Mauritius, Zambia, and the DRC. In her new role, Winnie will drive strategic HR initiatives, enhance employee engagement, and foster a positive work environment for the entire workforce.
Winnie has been with WIOCC Group for over 16 years, holding key positions such as Director of Human Resources & Administration. During her 7-year tenure in this role, she led the HR function across multiple countries, coordinating recruitment, implementing retention strategies, managing compensation and benefits programs, and overseeing employee training and development initiatives.
Before that, Winnie served as the Human Resources Manager, where she collaborated with hiring managers to align staffing with organizational goals and maintained a positive work culture. She was also responsible for performance appraisals, employee development, and the on-boarding process. Earlier in her career, Winnie held administrative roles, including Office Administrator & HR Assistant at iWayAfrica Kenya Limited, where she managed office operations and supported HR functions.
