New York, United States, October 2024 – Xiomara I. Alonso has started a new role as the Vice President, People & Culture at Carisk Partners, where she will be responsible for overseeing and advancing the company’s HR strategy. With her wealth of experience in human resources, Xiomara will focus on creating a dynamic and inclusive workplace while supporting Carisk Partners’ mission to provide exceptional care coordination and risk transfer services for its clients.
Before joining Carisk Partners, Xiomara founded XLHR Consulting Group, LLC in April 2024, where she served as a Fractional HR & Ops Consultant. In this role, she provided HR consulting services to a diverse range of industries, including legal, e-commerce, and manufacturing, helping startups and small businesses optimize their HR operations.
In addition to her consultancy work, Xiomara also serves as a Board Member at Ayuda Health, a health tech company focused on solutions for chronic disease management. In her board role, she chairs the human resource committee and contributes to the development of compensation strategies to support the company’s growth and mission.
Earlier, Xiomara held the position of Vice President of Human Resources at Chapman Partnership, where she played a pivotal role in managing two Homeless Assistance Centers in Miami and Homestead. She worked closely with case managers and residents to ensure personalized care plans, driving the organization’s success in helping individuals achieve self-sufficiency.
Prior to that, Xiomara was the Director of Human Resources & Operations at Crius Energy, LLC from 2009 to 2018. During her tenure, she managed HR for a company with over 1.4 million customers across 19 states, overseeing talent management, employee development, and HR operations for the energy provider.
