Wetteren, Flemish Region, Belgium, February 2026 — Van de Velde Packaging Group has announced that Yannik Van den Eynde has joined the organization as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In this leadership role, Yannik will be responsible for strengthening the company’s people strategy, leadership development, talent agenda, and organizational effectiveness—supporting Van de Velde Packaging Group’s continued growth as an international provider of innovative fibre-based packaging solutions and premium packaging machinery.
With extensive experience across HR leadership, consulting, interim management, change programs, and labor relations, Yannik brings deep expertise in building scalable people systems, driving transformation, and partnering with business leadership to enable performance and culture.
Prior to joining Van de Velde Packaging Group, Yannik Van den Eynde spent nearly 4 years with N-ALLO (ENGIE Group) as HR Director, working across a multi-site environment in Belgium through a hybrid setup. In this role, he led HR operations and workforce leadership responsibilities, with experience across stakeholder management, HR reporting, resource planning, people development, and union relations—supporting organizational outcomes across multiple locations.
Most recently, he also worked with ENGIE Impact for close to 1 year as Sr HR Lead on a freelance basis in Brussels, contributing senior HR leadership support through a project-oriented engagement model. In parallel, he has continued a long-standing practice as an HR executive in a private company setting for over 17 years, focused on HR consulting, interim management, management consulting, change management, and long- and short-term HR project leadership across diverse organizations.
Earlier in his corporate HR leadership journey, Yannik served as Human Resources Director Benelux at Wolters Kluwer for over 3 years, based in Mechelen, where he led regional HR leadership responsibilities across the Benelux footprint. Prior to that, he held HR Director roles across multiple organizations including MEDIALAAN, Yara International, Seco, and Groupe Autosécurité, building strong cross-industry experience in stakeholder leadership, talent development, HR operations, labor relations, and organization change.
Yannik also brings deep institutional HR leadership experience from Generali Belgium, where he served for over 10 years as Human Resources Director, developing long-horizon expertise in HR governance, organizational redesign, workforce and talent planning, and enterprise people leadership. Earlier in his career, he worked as an HR Manager at SAIT RadioHolland Coordination Center SA, building foundational HR management expertise in Belgium.
In addition to his corporate and consulting experience, Yannik also serves as a Working Judge in Social Affairs with the Labour Court Leuven, strengthening his perspective on employment and labor-related matters through a formal judicial role.
