Greater Chicago Area, United States, June 2025 – Amrize, a North American leader in advanced building solutions, has announced the appointment of Zachary Lucio as Vice President Human Resources, Building Materials and Corporate Functions. In this strategic role, Zachary will oversee all HR operations for Amrize’s Building Materials division as well as corporate functions, guiding people strategy and organizational development during a period of sustained growth and innovation.
Zachary brings a wealth of experience from his recent role as Vice President, Total Rewards and HRIS at Bloomin’ Brands, Inc., where he led total rewards strategy and HR systems transformation to support a large and complex workforce.
Prior to this, Zachary spent nearly eleven years at Owens Corning, holding diverse and progressively senior HR leadership roles including Director, Labor and Employment Law; Asia Pacific Human Resource Leader; Global Human Resources Leader; and Regional Human Resources Leader. During his tenure, he led major change initiatives across geographies, advised on enterprise projects with significant people impact, and implemented global HR best practices—generating cost savings, enhancing engagement, and driving organizational effectiveness.
Earlier in his career, Zachary worked in risk management and legal roles at organizations including Risk International Services and The University of Akron Student Venture Fund, providing a foundation in strategic analysis, compliance, and business partnership.
With his deep expertise in both HR strategy and operational execution, Zachary is set to drive Amrize’s people agenda and support its mission to build North America as the partner of choice for professional builders.
