Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, United States, July 2024 – Kimberly Etter has been appointed as the Vice President Human Resources, UPMC, Central Pa. Region at UPMC. With nearly 30 years of experience at UPMC, Kimberly brings extensive knowledge and expertise to her new role.
Kimberly Etter has been with UPMC for approximately 29 years and 10 months. Prior to her current role, she served as the Sr. Director, Human Resources, UPMC, Central Pa. Region for about 4.5 years. In this capacity, Kimberly played a pivotal role in shaping HR strategies and policies that support the regional operations.
Before that, Kimberly held the position of System Vice President, Talent Acquisition and Employee Relations for over 2 years. In this role, she was responsible for overseeing talent acquisition and managing employee relations across the system, ensuring the alignment of HR practices with organizational goals.
From 2008 to 2017, Kimberly served as the Director, Employment and Labor Relations, where she managed labor relations and employment practices, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring compliance with labor laws.
Earlier in her career, Kimberly was a Human Resources Consultant for nearly 7 years, providing HR expertise and support across various departments. She also worked as a Human Resource Recruiter for over 2 years, focusing on talent acquisition and recruitment strategies.
Kimberly started her journey at UPMC as a Benefits Analyst and Department Secretary, gaining valuable experience in benefits management and departmental operations.
