Milan, Italy, September 2024 – Peter Durante has been appointed as the Chief People, Innovation & Transformation Officer at Italgas. In his new role, Durante will spearhead initiatives in innovation, AI, transformation, and change management, focusing on leveraging people and future-driven strategies to advance Italgas‘ mission.
Prior to joining Italgas, Peter Durante served as Chief Human Resources & Organization Officer at Italgas for approximately 4 years, overseeing HR strategies and organizational development and significantly contributing to the company’s growth and transformation initiatives.
Before that, Durante held the position of Chief Human Resources Officer at Mundys (Atlantia S.p.A.) for about 5 months, playing a crucial role in leading HR functions and supporting organizational change during a period of transition.
Peter Durante also served as VP HR & Org Central Eastern Europe at Prysmian Group for approximately 4 years and 3 months. He was instrumental in driving HR strategies and organizational effectiveness across Central and Eastern Europe.
Earlier in his career, Durante worked as VP HR & Org North America at Prysmian Group for around 3 years and 4 months, managing HR functions for North America with a focus on talent management and organizational development.
His experience also includes roles such as HR Director Manufacturing, R&D and BU Car at Pirelli for about 5 years, and HR Director Auto HQ at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles for approximately 1 year. He contributed to HR strategies and organizational development in these roles.
