London, England, September 2024 – Hayley McCourt has taken on the role of Head of Regional Human Resources at Lidl GB. With over 14 years of experience at Lidl, Hayley brings extensive expertise in HR strategy and operations, and she will now oversee HR functions across the regional offices, driving growth and fostering a strong company culture.
Before her promotion to Head of Regional Human Resources, Hayley was the Head of Compensation, Benefits, Organisational Design, and HR Administration at Lidl GB, where she spent nearly three years managing the day-to-day HR administration, compensation and benefits strategy, and organisational structure. In this role, she played a key part in ensuring the integrity of national HR policies and processes, making a significant impact on the company’s operations.
Earlier in her career, Hayley served as the Head of Rewards & Engagement (Diversity & Inclusion) & Culture for about four years, leading efforts to develop Lidl GB’s national compensation and benefits strategy. She was instrumental in driving diversity and inclusion initiatives and improving employee engagement through recognition programs, surveys, and well-being strategies.
Prior to that, Hayley was the Head of Recruitment & Employer Branding, where she transformed the recruitment function. Over nearly five and a half years, she grew the national recruitment team, launched a new employer brand, and developed Lidl’s award-winning graduate program, which received accolades like the Target Job Award for Best Graduate Marketing Campaign 2016 and Times Top 100 Best Graduate Brochure 2016.
Earlier in her career, Hayley served as Area Manager in Glasgow, gaining operational leadership experience that laid the foundation for her future HR roles at Lidl.
