Reading, England, September 2024 – Laura Watt has taken on the role of Director, Clinical Talent Acquisition at IQVIA, a global leader in advanced analytics and clinical research services. In her new role, Laura will oversee clinical talent acquisition strategies for global clinical operations, ensuring the company’s ability to attract top talent in the EMEA region. She will also continue her global leadership responsibilities, providing strategic direction and tactical leadership within competitive Clinical Functional Service Provider (CFSP) models.
Laura’s career at IQVIA began over four years ago. Before her current role, she was the Associate Director, Clinical Talent Acquisition, where she led a team of talent acquisition professionals across EMEA. She played a critical role in establishing hiring goals and strategies to support clinical business units, delivering key insights to senior leadership on recruitment trends and market conditions.
Prior to this, Laura held the position of Manager, Talent Acquisition for Global Project Leadership and Global Site Activation at IQVIA. In this role, she developed a team of specialists responsible for clinical hiring across large business units in EMEA. Before joining IQVIA, she was Talent Acquisition Manager for EMEA at Avis Budget Group, where she defined and implemented recruitment strategies to support business transformation across multiple regions.
Earlier in her career, Laura gained significant experience in recruitment at Robert Walters as a Manager for the Southern Home Counties and as a Principal Consultant at Pro-Recruitment Group, where she specialized in finance recruitment. She also spent over seven years at Huntress, where she started as a Recruitment Resourcer and worked her way up to Senior Consultant.
