Warrington, England, October 2024 – Jamie Jones has started a new position as the Head of Talent Acquisition – UK, ROI & DACH at Haier Europe, where he will lead the talent acquisition teams for the UK, Republic of Ireland, and the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). In this role, Jamie will also oversee recruitment efforts for Haier’s Small Domestic Appliance and Kitchen Appliance businesses across Europe.
Jamie has been with Haier Europe for over 3 years, where he previously served as the Talent Acquisition Business Partner – UK, ROI & DACH. In that role, he was responsible for working with the European Leadership Team to oversee talent acquisition across key brands, including Candy, Hoover, and Haier, in the UK, Republic of Ireland, and DACH region. Additionally, he played a significant role in talent sourcing for Italy and Benelux, providing strategic leadership in recruitment.
Prior to joining Haier, Jamie worked at Marks and Spencer as the Head of Recruitment Services, where he led a team of 30 across various functions, including Head Office, Stores, and Distribution, and spearheaded the M&S Recruitment Transformation Project. Before that, he spent 4 years at Arla Foods as the Talent Acquisition Manager – UK & International, where he managed a global HR team and led recruitment efforts across multiple regions.
Jamie’s earlier career includes significant roles at Smith & Nephew, Tesco, and various executive search firms. His extensive experience in talent acquisition and recruitment strategy makes him well-suited for this leadership position at Haier Europe.
