Durban, South Africa, October 2024 – Lucinda Bruce has taken on the role of Vice President: Talent, Experience & Effectiveness at Derivco, where she will oversee the organization’s talent management strategies, employee experience initiatives, and effectiveness programs. In this role, Lucinda will lead efforts to align people strategies with Derivco’s global vision of maintaining its position as a leader in iGaming technology.

Lucinda brings over 8 years of experience at Derivco, having most recently served as Head of Talent Management. In this capacity, she spearheaded talent acquisition and development programs that transformed employee engagement and retention. She also played a pivotal role in establishing leadership development initiatives and succession planning strategies that supported the company’s growth.

Prior to that, Lucinda held the position of Talent Management Specialist and Lead at Derivco for approximately 3 years. She focused on aligning organizational goals with people-centric strategies and implemented data-driven solutions to enhance employee performance and well-being.

Before joining Derivco, Lucinda worked as an Organisational Psychologist and Lead for ACT International and Thomas International (SA), where she specialized in organizational diagnostics and talent assessments, helping businesses streamline their recruitment and development processes.

Earlier in her career, Lucinda spent over 7 years with the South African Police Services (SAPS) as an Organisational Psychologist in the Employee Health and Wellness division. She played a key role in supporting the mental and emotional well-being of police officers in the KwaZulu-Natal region, providing critical psychological services and interventions.
