Pune, Maharashtra, India, October 2024 – Abhisek Majumdar has taken on the role of Vice President of Talent Management at Capgemini, where he will oversee the company’s talent management strategies to foster growth, innovation, and people development. In this role, Abhisek will lead talent acquisition, performance management, and leadership development initiatives, aligning them with Capgemini’s overall business goals.
Abhisek Majumdar has been with Capgemini for 6 years, most recently serving as the Global Head of Talent & PMS for the Financial Services SBU since September 2022. In this role, he was responsible for driving talent management strategies globally, including performance management systems and employee development programs for the financial services sector. Prior to that, Abhisek held the position of Senior Director – Talent Management from July 2021 to October 2022, where he led key transformation initiatives within the talent management function.
Before joining Capgemini, Abhisek worked at Tata Motors as Deputy General Manager – HR, where he was instrumental in implementing HR strategies and driving key HR initiatives for over 2 years. He also spent nearly 6 years at IBM, where he served as a Senior Manager HR, leading various HR functions and contributing to the company’s human resource strategies.
Earlier in his career, Abhisek worked with Infosys as Sr. Associate Lead HR for over 3 years, where he gained significant experience in employee engagement and HR process improvements. He also held positions at PepsiCo and Titagarh Wagons Limited, where he started his professional journey as a Management Trainee HR.
