Greenville, South Carolina, United States, October 2024 – Vivacity Tech PBC has appointed Eric Kalinsky as its new Chief People Officer. Eric will lead the company’s people operations, helping to drive the culture, employee engagement, and organizational development efforts in line with Vivacity Tech’s mission to balance profitability and social responsibility while delivering innovative solutions for the K-12 EdTech market.
Before joining Vivacity Tech, Eric served as Vice President, People and Culture at LL Flooring, where he oversaw the HR operations for the company’s 430+ stores across the U.S. for over three years, leading efforts in employee engagement, talent acquisition, and organizational development.
Prior to that, he held the role of Director, People Operations at goPuff, where he played a pivotal role in building out people operations functions for the rapidly growing company, known for its on-demand delivery services. His leadership was key to managing the company’s scaling efforts across multiple locations in the U.S.
Eric also has extensive experience in the retail sector, having served as Director of Field Human Resources at GameStop, where he managed HR functions for over 10,000 employees and multiple brands for nearly nine years. His expertise in talent management and HR strategy was instrumental in supporting business growth across 1,300 stores.
Earlier in his career, Eric served as Director of Human Resources at Tumi, overseeing HR operations for U.S. and international locations, further cementing his track record of HR leadership across diverse sectors.
