Chicago, Illinois, United States – October 2024 – Mary Wilmes Rigo has transitioned into the role of Director of Talent Management at KPMG US. In this new position, Mary will lead talent management strategies and initiatives, supporting the firm’s ongoing efforts to drive performance, enhance leadership, and support talent growth across its U.S. operations.
Prior to this role, Mary served as the Associate Director, HR Business Advisor at KPMG US for the past two years. In this capacity, she was responsible for executing people strategies, managing performance cycles, and overseeing compensation planning within the Transaction Services group of the Deal Advisory business.
Earlier, Mary held the role of Manager, HR Business Advisor at KPMG US, where she partnered with the Accounting Advisory Services and Capital Solutions Advisory Practices. Her efforts focused on performance management, strategic HR advising, and employee relations.
Mary’s career at KPMG US began as a Senior Associate, HR Business Advisor, where she supported HR operations for Deal Advisory, Corporate Finance, and Risk Consulting practices. Her role involved executing HR programs, handling compensation processes, and serving as a strategic advisor to partners and employees.
Mary’s broader HR journey includes positions such as HR Coordinator and Secretary for the Wilmes Family Charitable Foundation, reflecting her commitment to human resource management and organizational development over the years.
