In this pivotal role, she will be responsible for driving technological innovation, overseeing IT strategies, and enhancing operational efficiencies across the organization’s information systems.
Sushma previously served as the Senior Vice President at Independence Blue Cross for the past two years, where she led IT development, maintenance, and engineering. Her efforts contributed to modernizing the company’s technology landscape and advancing digital solutions.
Before this, she held the position of Vice President at Independence Blue Cross for over two years, focusing on business applications technology. Sushma was instrumental in developing, maintaining, and engineering IT solutions that optimized operational processes and improved customer experiences.
Prior to joining Independence Blue Cross, Sushma worked at Bank of America for nearly four years. As the SVP – Wealth Management Technology Service Delivery Leader, she drove technology solutions and managed strategic initiatives. Earlier, as Senior Vice President of Robotic Process Automation Strategy, she led innovation strategies to enhance service delivery.
Earlier in her career, she held the role of Vice President at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where she was responsible for strategic planning and execution of business initiatives, focusing on financial technology solutions.
