In her new role, she will focus on driving the advertising strategy, expanding partnerships, and leveraging data-driven insights to optimize Netflix’s advertising business. Her leadership is expected to enhance Netflix’s advertising solutions and contribute significantly to its growth and market expansion.
Before joining Netflix, Nicolle Pangis served as Chief Executive Officer at Ampersand for over five years, where she transformed the company into a leading advanced television business, achieving a 75% share of the U.S. addressable television market. Under her leadership, Ampersand earned numerous industry accolades, including high rankings on AdAge’s Best Places to Work and Fairygodboss’s list of gender diversity champions.
Prior to Ampersand, Nicolle was the Global COO of the Product, Data, Analytics, and Services Division at GroupM, where she launched data-driven capabilities that streamlined client access to technology across multiple agencies. Her strategic initiatives included developing proprietary digital audience platforms and creating partnerships with tech giants like Adobe, Google, and Facebook.
At Xaxis, Nicolle held dual roles as Global COO and Global Chief Revenue Officer, where she was instrumental in scaling the programmatic business from zero to $1 billion in five years. She managed global operations, product development, and strategic partnerships, driving significant growth in the agency’s platform technologies and revenue.
Nicolle also held various senior roles at 24/7 Media Inc., including President, North America and Europe, where she played a pivotal role in integrating WPP’s acquisition of 24/7 Media and launching new business ventures across Asia and Europe.
