Chicago, Illinois, United States – November 2024 – Matt Cherry has joined HH Global as its Chief Human Resources Officer. Based in Chicago, Cherry will be responsible for overseeing the company’s global human resources operations, with a focus on enhancing strategic talent initiatives, fostering leadership development, and implementing global HR policies. As part of HH Global’s executive team, Cherry will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s commitment to people-first innovation and supporting its expanding presence worldwide.
Before joining HH Global, Cherry served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Titan America for over five years. During his tenure in Norfolk, Virginia, he was instrumental in shaping the HR strategy, focusing on organizational development and compensation management, while leading strategic human resources and leadership initiatives.
Previously, Cherry was the Vice President & Chief People Officer at Life Fitness, a leading fitness equipment manufacturer. In this role, he managed the global HR function, aligning HR practices to support the organization’s growth across international markets. His leadership helped drive organizational development and strengthen global HR management.
Prior to Life Fitness, Cherry held the position of Vice President of Human Resources at Brunswick Boat Group. Here, he contributed to the leadership of the group by implementing people management and development activities aligned with business goals. He led HR initiatives that fostered employee well-being and engagement, ultimately enhancing team productivity and supporting the group’s financial targets.
In earlier roles, Cherry was VP of Human Resources for Brunswick Marine EMEA and APAC and HR Director at Sealine International Ltd, where he honed his expertise in strategic HR leadership across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific, solidifying his ability to drive HR strategies in diverse, global environments.
