Prior to Trident Seafoods, Ozburn held various senior HR positions at Amazon, where he spent over nine years. He initially joined as Global Human Resources Leader before advancing to a Global Leadership Development Leader role. At Amazon, he was instrumental in designing and implementing leadership programs, executive coaching, and metrics dashboards that improved operational transparency and leader engagement. His contributions played a pivotal role in enhancing Amazon’s global HR framework across ten countries, including the United States, India, and Japan.

Earlier in his career, Ozburn served as Regional Director of Human Resources for Republic Services, focusing on executive coaching, high-potential development, and succession planning for the Northwest region. His success in creating effective leadership development programs and implementing a national military outreach initiative helped the organization strengthen its talent pool and reduce time-to-hire for operational roles.

Ozburn began his HR career as Vice President of Human Resources at Tecta America Corp, where he facilitated the integration of 29 acquired companies. His work in developing robust talent acquisition and management systems contributed to the organization’s successful growth trajectory.
