Nova Scotia, Canada – November 2024 – Jean Spicer-Moore has stepped into the role of Director, Communications, People and Culture at Nova Scotia Health Authority. In this role, Spicer-Moore will lead strategic communications and cultural initiatives, focusing on fostering a positive organizational environment that supports both employees and patients across the health authority.
Spicer-Moore brings over a year of valuable experience with Nova Scotia Health Authority, where she previously served as the Interim Director of NSH Northern Zone Communications and Internal Communications. During her tenure, she managed regional communication strategies and engaged closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with the health authority’s goals and values.
Before joining Nova Scotia Health Authority, Spicer-Moore held a pivotal role as Senior Communications Advisor for Halifax’s Emergency Medical Care Inc. She managed communications, public relations, and community engagement for over four years, focusing on initiatives that enhanced emergency healthcare visibility and impact throughout Nova Scotia.
With over two decades of experience in healthcare communications, Spicer-Moore has held various roles within EHS Operations/Emergency Medical Care, including Corporate Communications Manager and Public Relations Project Manager. Her extensive experience in project management, legislative relations, and strategic communications underscores her dedication to advancing healthcare awareness and community engagement.
