Gurgaon, Haryana, India, May 2026 — Karuna Joon has started a new adventure as Global HR Operations Lead at Clifford Chance, marking a significant leadership move in her accomplished human resources operations and transformation career.
In her new role, Joon will support global HR operations, process excellence, service delivery, workforce support, and people operations transformation for Clifford Chance’s integrated global platform.
Before joining Clifford Chance, Joon spent over eight years with JLL, where she held key HR leadership roles including Regional HR Transitions Lead, APAC, Director Human Resources, and Senior Manager Human Resources. Her work focused on HR transitions, regional people operations, HR transformation, employee lifecycle management, and business-aligned HR delivery across the APAC region.
Prior to JLL, she served as Senior Manager – HR Shared Services Center at PeopleStrong, where she managed HR shared services for IndiGo Airlines across India, covering employee lifecycle processes from pre-joining to exit, employee helpdesk operations, and compliance.
Earlier, Joon worked as HR Consultant, Decorative Paints – India at AkzoNobel, strengthening her experience in HR advisory and business support.
Her career also includes a long tenure at Genpact, where she progressed through multiple HR roles including Manager Human Resources, Assistant Manager Human Resources, Management Trainee Human Resources, and Senior Human Resources Officer. She began her early professional journey with GE Healthcare, where she held executive roles in Gurgaon.
With more than two decades of HR experience across professional services, real estate, shared services, outsourcing, healthcare, and industrial sectors, Joon brings strong expertise in HR operations, transition management, shared services, compliance, employee lifecycle management, and people transformation.
