Laatzen, Lower Saxony, Germany, May 2026 — Punya P. has been promoted to Director HR Planning & Commercial Partnership EMEA at Emerson, marking a significant advancement in her global HR leadership journey.
In her new role, Punya will partner closely with the Sales and Revenue Operations leadership teams, translating business strategy into people priorities that drive organizational growth, leadership capability, and operational effectiveness across the EMEA region.
Alongside her commercial partnership responsibilities, she will also lead EMEA HR planning and program execution, ensuring alignment and consistent delivery of talent, culture, and people initiatives across regional operations. Her promotion reflects Emerson’s confidence in her strategic HR leadership and business partnership capabilities.
Punya has been with Emerson for more than three years and previously served in HR Strategy, EMEA | Fluid & Motion Control, where she designed and communicated HR strategic plans, partnered with business and HR leaders to strengthen diverse talent pipelines across EMEA, and drove major HR initiatives and organizational capability programs. She also served as HR Business Partner for EMEA Sales and Strategic Business Units.
Prior to Emerson, she held leadership roles at Observe.AI as Lead HRBP (Senior Manager), where she worked closely with executive leadership across machine learning, product, marketing, and corporate teams, supporting talent strategy, DEIB initiatives, leadership development, manager enablement, and global people programs.
Earlier, Punya served as Senior Manager (HRBP) at Fractal Analytics, leading HR partnership for artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data, consulting, and corporate teams while driving strategic interventions in performance management, employee engagement, talent management, analytics-driven workforce planning, and organizational development.
Her earlier experience at Deloitte India (Offices of the US) included employee relations leadership, talent management, leadership development, policy advisory, organizational risk management, compliance, investigations, learning and development, and workforce analytics across large-scale consulting operations.
Punya’s broader professional foundation includes internships and HR development assignments with organizations including Rabobank, Colgate Palmolive, Deloitte U.S. India offices, Voltas Limited, Janssen, and RMSI, where she built strong expertise across learning, employee engagement, performance management, leadership development, and HR transformation.
