Frankfurt, Hessen, Germany, November 2024 – DWS Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Patrick Grigat as its new Chief Technology Officer. Having recently joined from Google, Patrick will oversee the management, development, implementation, and evaluation of DWS’s technology resources, aiming to enhance the firm’s capabilities and drive business growth. Meanwhile, Rafael Otero, Chief Technology and Operations Officer, will continue to hold responsibility for Technology at the Executive Board level.
Rafael Otero stated, “Patrick has a proven track record in working with global enterprises to develop and execute technology strategies and leading them through digital transformation journeys. We’re thrilled to have Patrick on board with us and can’t wait for him to get started in his new role.”
Patrick Grigat brings extensive expertise in technology strategy and digital transformation to DWS Group. Prior to joining DWS, he spent over six years at Google, where he held various leadership roles, including Principal Architect for Financial Services, driving technological innovation for global enterprises. His contributions included guiding large-scale digital transformations and implementing cutting-edge cloud solutions.
Patrick also served as a Lecturer at Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University, teaching topics such as microservices, container orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code. Earlier in his career, he held key positions at Dell EMC, specializing in application modernization and big data solutions.
