Kolkata, West Bengal, India, June 2026 — Pallab Dutta has been appointed as Executive Director at Deloitte South Asia, marking a significant milestone in a distinguished career spanning more than two decades across digital transformation, enterprise technology consulting, SAP transformation, AI-led business innovation, large-scale program delivery, and consulting leadership.
In his new role, Pallab will leverage his extensive experience in digital transformation, enterprise modernization, business consulting, and technology-led growth initiatives to support Deloitte’s clients across industries as they navigate increasingly complex business and technology landscapes.
Prior to joining Deloitte South Asia, Pallab Dutta served as Head of Consulting and Delivery at ArcelorMittal Digital Consulting, the consulting arm of the global steel and mining leader. In this role, he was responsible for shaping the organization’s multi-year digital transformation strategy across SAP, AI/ML, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Customer Experience, and Data Analytics. He also led the group’s global S/4HANA transformation agenda, established AI and Machine Learning Centers of Excellence, oversaw MES rollouts across European operations, and collaborated closely with senior business leaders to drive technology-enabled growth and operational excellence.
Before ArcelorMittal, Pallab spent nearly three years with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) as Program Director, where he led some of the largest and most complex SAP transformation initiatives in the industry. He directed large-scale global S/4HANA transformation programs, managed multi-million-dollar technology portfolios, and provided advisory support for enterprise-wide digital modernization initiatives involving hundreds of professionals across multiple geographies.
Earlier, Pallab spent eight years with Tech Mahindra, holding several leadership positions including Program Manager, Service Delivery Manager – SAP, Automation and Ecosystem, and Onsite Program Manager. During this period, he led major digitization programs for leading industrial and mining organizations, managed large global delivery teams, drove SAP implementation programs, introduced automation-led delivery models, and strengthened client relationships across international markets including Switzerland and India.
Prior to Tech Mahindra, he served as Manager – SAP CPG & Retail Competency at Capgemini, where he focused on solution architecture, pre-sales consulting, capability development, and SAP transformation programs across consumer products and retail sectors. Earlier, he spent more than five years with IBM, progressing through roles such as SAP Track Lead, Onsite Team Lead and Solution Architect, and Lead Consultant, leading global SAP rollouts, transformation programs, automation initiatives, and enterprise change management projects.
Pallab’s earlier professional journey included leadership and consulting assignments with PSI Data Systems, General Electric (GE), and Asea Brown Boveri (ABB). Across these organizations, he developed deep expertise in SAP consulting, enterprise technology implementation, project management, manufacturing systems, and business process transformation. Over the years, he has built a strong reputation as a trusted transformation leader capable of delivering large-scale business and technology programs while creating sustainable value for organizations.
