Nicola brings a wealth of experience in HR leadership and transformation to the innovative power solutions provider. In her new role, she will lead the People team, driving HR strategy and aligning people initiatives with AVK-SEG’s rapid growth and evolving organizational objectives. With AVK-SEG at the forefront of transforming the energy consumption of data centres, Nicola’s leadership will be pivotal in scaling the company’s workforce and creating a proactive, data-driven HR function.
Before joining AVK-SEG, Nicola Forbes-Taylor served as Leadership Consultant and Fractional Chief People Officer at NFT Consulting, where she advised tech organizations on leadership, culture, and strategy development. Her work included bespoke leadership programs, coaching senior leaders, and fostering impactful leadership across teams. Nicola’s contributions empowered HR leaders to excel within startup ecosystems.
Previously, Nicola was a Coach at Aspire Professional Skills Training, where she worked with professionals from finance and consulting sectors, fostering growth mindset and leadership development. Her coaching expertise enabled transformative learning experiences and lasting behavioral changes among participants.
Nicola also held a consulting role as Chief People Officer at Clausematch, a Series B compliance disruptor. She led initiatives such as founder separation, leadership team connection, and compliance audits for people data and processes, delivering clarity and operational efficiency during a pivotal phase of the company’s growth.
Earlier in her career, Nicola was a Consultant at OpenBlend, where she implemented performance-focused coaching approaches for SMEs and corporate clients. She maintained 100% client renewals and significantly enhanced employee engagement through effective training and use of the OpenBlend platform.
In addition to these roles, Nicola’s extensive experience includes HR leadership positions at organizations such as Onfido, TAB (The App Business), Nutmeg, Huddle, and Thales, where she consistently delivered innovative HR strategies, organizational transformation, and cultural enhancements.
