Puducherry, India, December 2024 – Shrey Talwar has been appointed as the Chief Sales Officer at Hidesign, ushering in an exciting new chapter in his career. With an extensive background in retail and sales management, Shrey is well-equipped to lead Hidesign’s sales strategies in alignment with its global vision.
Before joining Hidesign, Shrey served as National Retail and Operations Manager for Van Heusen at Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd., where he was instrumental in managing retail operations and driving growth. Prior to that, as Operations Head for American Eagle, he showcased his expertise in scaling retail businesses and improving operational efficiency.
Shrey’s tenure at Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd. also included his role as Regional Business Manager, where he handled Peter England’s Trade and Retail Business for South India. Overseeing a turnover of INR 200 crore across 80 exclusive brand outlets (EBOs), he played a pivotal role in crafting regional sales strategies, negotiating with large accounts, and implementing impactful marketing plans tailored to Tier II and III markets.
Earlier in his career, Shrey honed his expertise in merchandising and design with roles at Blackberrys, Madura Fashion & Lifestyle, and ColorPlus Fashions Limited. These roles allowed him to lead product innovation, streamline operations, and design impactful marketing concepts, laying a strong foundation for his success in retail and sales leadership.
Shrey holds an MBA in Sales, Distribution, and Marketing Operations from XLRI Jamshedpur, where he refined his strategic and analytical skills to excel in the competitive retail landscape.
