Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, January 2025 – Amit Dhawan has taken on the role of Chief Executive Officer for India and APAC at Network Intelligence, where he will lead the company’s strategic initiatives, regional expansion, and delivery of cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions. With over 25 years of expertise in IT and information security, Amit is well-positioned to strengthen Network Intelligence’s presence in the region and address evolving digital threats effectively.
Amit joins Network Intelligence following his role as CISO and DPO, Head of Cloud Infrastructure, and Head of Responsible AI at Quantiphi, where he drove compliance with global security standards, implemented innovative data privacy frameworks, and initiated automation projects that significantly reduced costs. He also pioneered frameworks for Responsible AI and leveraged advanced technologies like generative AI and machine learning to optimize cloud management and information security practices.

Prior to Quantiphi, Amit held the position of CISO and DPO at Birlasoft, where he was instrumental in reshaping the company’s information security strategies to align with emerging threats and compliance requirements. He also provided leadership in enhancing risk management and regulatory adherence.
His experience includes roles at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Skillmine Technology Consulting, where he focused on technology controls, application risk management, and information security leadership. Earlier in his career, Amit spent nearly 17 years in the Indian Navy, where he served as Joint Director overseeing cyber security and information security initiatives, incident response, and vulnerability assessments, while collaborating with government and non-governmental bodies.
