Milan Mookerjee Appointed as Vice President of Human Resources at Atmosphere Core

Malé, Maldives, September 2024 – Milan Mookerjee has been appointed as the Vice President of Human Resources at Atmosphere Core, where he will be responsible for overseeing human capital management and people development strategies across the company’s luxury resorts. His appointment is expected to drive workforce excellence, aligning HR practices with the company’s rapid expansion plans.

Prior to joining Atmosphere Core, Milan Mookerjee served as the Head of Human Resources and Training at Encalm Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. for nearly three years, where he spearheaded HR and training functions to support business growth. His leadership was pivotal in enhancing employee engagement and driving performance improvement.

Before Encalm, Milan spent four years at Massive Restaurants Pvt. Ltd., initially as the Head of Learning & Talent Development and later as Head of Human Resources & Training. During his tenure, he implemented strategic HR initiatives and comprehensive training programs that contributed to the organization’s growth in the highly competitive hospitality sector.

Milan also worked at VLCC as the Head of Training and Development for nearly a year, where he focused on talent development and organizational learning. His experience at VLCC strengthened his expertise in designing learning programs tailored to specific business needs.

Earlier in his career, Milan was the Director of Professional Skill Development at HVS for three years, where he led training and skill development initiatives across the organization. He was instrumental in crafting training solutions that addressed both operational and strategic challenges.

In addition, Milan has held key roles in the hospitality industry, including Corporate Head of Learning & Development at The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts, and Corporate Head of Human Resources at IHHR Hospitality Private Limited, where he played a critical role in shaping HR policies and driving leadership development programs.
