Denver, Colorado, United States, February 2025 – Kara Hughes has been appointed as Chief People Officer at Eclipse Advantage, where she will spearhead strategic initiatives in talent development, organizational culture, and workforce engagement. With an extensive background in HR leadership, workforce planning, and employee experience, she will focus on aligning people strategies with business objectives to drive organizational growth and success.
Prior to joining Eclipse Advantage, Kara spent six years at Northwestern Mutual as Vice President, HR Business Partner – Tech & Digital, and Head of Workforce Planning, People Insights, and Analytics. She played a pivotal role in reorganizing the Client Experience and Digital divisions, hiring key leadership, and implementing workforce optimization strategies that enhanced efficiency, engagement, and retention. Her leadership in automating HR processes, refining talent deployment, and driving diversity and inclusion initiatives positioned her as a key strategic partner to the company’s CIO and CCO.
Before that, she served as Vice President of Human Resources Business Partner – Technology/Enterprise Services at Sutherland, leading global HR strategies, workforce restructuring, and talent development initiatives. She also redesigned the HR framework for the Latin America region, optimizing operational efficiency and reducing costs. Additionally, her tenure at ettain group, Thryv, and Modis saw her spearheading HR transformations, workforce planning, and strategic HR initiatives in high-growth and large-scale corporate environments.
