Sarah Burgin joined Cap America in 2015, starting her journey as the Director of Human Resources before advancing to the role of Vice President of Finance. Her tenure at the company has been marked by exceptional leadership and a deep understanding of the company’s operational needs. Burgin’s rich background in retail business management, coupled with her academic achievements—a bachelor’s degree in business management from Central Methodist University and an MBA from Southeast Missouri State University—have equipped her with a unique blend of skills and insights.

Before her time at Cap America, Burgin contributed significantly to the retail sector, including a 15-year tenure at Walmart, where she honed her expertise in retail operations. Furthermore, her role as a business instructor at Central Methodist University, where she also served as an adjunct business instructor, reflects her commitment to nurturing future business leaders.

In her new role as COO, Burgin is tasked with overseeing all operational strategies, working closely with CEO Mark Gammon and other key executives. Her mission is to implement the visionary direction set forth by the CEO, ensuring the company’s continued success and growth. Mark Gammon expressed his confidence in Burgin’s abilities, stating, “Sarah’s extensive experience and business acumen will be extremely advantageous to our continued success.”

Burgin’s promotion is a landmark achievement for Cap America, as she becomes the first woman to hold a chief officer role within the company. This step not only signifies the company’s commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment but also positions Cap America for further innovation and success under Burgin’s leadership.

As Cap America looks to the future, Sarah Burgin’s leadership as Chief Operating Officer is expected to bring a fresh perspective and dynamic approach to the company’s operations. Her track record of success and strategic insight are set to play a crucial role in guiding Cap America through its next phase of growth and development.
