Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, March 2025 – Inventia Healthcare Limited has appointed Dr. Pavan Bhat as its new Chief Executive Officer. With a distinguished career spanning over 25 years in pharmaceuticals, Dr. Bhat brings strategic leadership, deep technical expertise, and a vision for innovation to drive the company’s next phase of growth.
Prior to joining Inventia Healthcare, Dr. Bhat served as Executive Vice President – Technical Operations at NATCO Pharma for nearly nine years, where he played a key role in overseeing multiple formulation plants, investor relations, and M&A activities. He led R&D, analytical sciences, regulatory affairs, and business development across global markets, spearheading the development of first-to-file (FTF) and NCE-1 filings for key molecules, including Semaglutide (Ozempic & Wegovy), Olaparib, and Erdafitinib.
Before NATCO, Dr. Bhat had an illustrious 16-year tenure at Mylan, where he held various leadership positions, including Senior Vice President – Global Head of External R&D and Business Development. He was instrumental in expanding global R&D capabilities, fostering external collaborations, and driving regulatory strategy to enhance the company’s product pipeline. His work at Mylan helped establish strong partnerships and accelerate product innovation across regulated markets.
Earlier in his career, he served as Executive Director of Corporate Development & Business Development at Mylan’s Southpointe and Morgantown divisions, leading product and process development initiatives. His deep expertise in pharmaceutical formulations, commercialization strategies, and intellectual property positioned him as a trusted leader in the industry.
In addition to his corporate leadership roles, Dr. Bhat has been an Adjunct Assistant Professor at West Virginia University’s School of Pharmacy, contributing to academic research and mentoring future pharmaceutical leaders. His extensive experience in drug development, market expansion, and regulatory affairs makes him well-equipped to lead Inventia Healthcare’s growth and innovation journey.
