Gurgaon, Haryana, India, April, 2025 — Jitender Dabas (Jeetu) has joined Cheil India as CEO of Cheil X, marking a strategic leadership shift aimed at elevating the agency’s creative, digital, and technology-driven capabilities. In this role, he will be responsible for overseeing Cheil X offices in Delhi and Mumbai, as well as other agencies under the Cheil South West Asia (SWA) umbrella. His focus will be on driving innovation in creative strategy, digital media, influencer marketing, content production, retail design, and performance-led solutions.
Jitender brings over two decades of expertise in brand strategy and integrated marketing. Prior to this appointment, he served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Strategy Officer at McCann Worldgroup India, where he also led effectiveness strategy for the APAC region. Under his leadership, McCann earned acclaim for transformative creative work and strategic planning across key markets.
His professional journey spans prominent roles at J. Walter Thompson Worldwide, where he was Executive Planning Director & Vice President, Grey Worldwide, and DRAFT FCB ULKA, contributing to some of India’s most recognized brand campaigns. His thought leadership in disruptive creativity and marketing effectiveness makes him a compelling choice to lead Cheil X during a period of industry transformation.
Jitender emphasized the shifting nature of the advertising and marketing landscape, noting that Cheil India’s integrated capabilities in digital, content, and experiential marketing position the agency at the leading edge of brand innovation.
