His extensive background includes strategic roles at Google Global Network, Tata Communications, Bharti Airtel Limited, and VSNL International, making him a pivotal addition to Airtel’s global leadership team.
In his most recent role at Google, Binod led strategic partnership development for India and South Asia, focusing on expanding edge, backbone, and subsea network infrastructure. His efforts contributed significantly to enhancing regional connectivity and strengthening Google’s digital footprint across emerging markets.
Prior to Google, Binod served for nearly thirteen years at Tata Communications, where he held senior leadership positions including Global Sales Head & Vice President – Service Provider Business and VP – India & SEA. During his tenure, he led global sales strategy and was instrumental in expanding Tata Communications’ reach across key international markets.
Earlier in his career, Binod held the role of VP – Global Connectivity Products at Bharti Airtel, and spent over a decade at VSNL International as VP – Partnership Services, where he managed cross-border alliances and played a vital role in building global voice and data infrastructure.
