Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa, September 2024 – Craig Bruinders has taken on the role of Head of Human Resources & Lead, Specialist Delivery, South Africa at Standard Chartered. In his new position, Craig will oversee all human resources operations and lead specialist delivery for the South African region. His focus will be on driving HR strategy and supporting the bank’s growth by enhancing employee engagement and operational efficiency.
Prior to joining Standard Chartered, Craig served as Senior Manager, Service Delivery at Standard Chartered in Sandton, Johannesburg, where he led service delivery for over six years. His contributions included overseeing HR systems and processes, ensuring optimal performance in HR operations, and enhancing service efficiency.
Before that, Craig was the HR Manager: Systems at MultiChoice (Naspers Video Entertainment Group), where he led the transformation of HR systems across Africa. He played a key role in implementing cloud-based HRIS solutions and improving HR processes for over 12,000 employees. During his time at MultiChoice, Craig also held positions as Group HR Manager – Technology and Group Learning Technology Manager, where he oversaw learning systems and talent management solutions.
Earlier in his career, Craig worked at The LR Management Group as a Business Analyst for performance-enabling technologies and held several consulting roles at Can!Do Consulting and Nokusa Consulting. His extensive experience in HR systems, business development, and project management has been instrumental in shaping his leadership approach.
